PTO Meeting, Tuesday, May 6th at
6:00 pm in the Hawthorn Library.
Please also remember to save Box Tops, ink cartridges, cell
phones, and plastic shopping bags. These are easy things to collect
at home and help raise quite a bit of money!

PTO meetings are being held on certain months this year.
Please check the school calendar for dates we will be meeting. We
would love to see you there and get involved! They are at 6:00 pm at
Hawthorn on the designated first Tuesday of the month.

Box Tops for Education
Box tops
for Education are found on cereal boxes, cake and brownie mixes, yogurt,
and now even Kleenex boxes! Click on box top logo to go to the Official Box
Tops for Education web site. Each box top that the PTO sends in means cash
to our school. They may be tiny, but they're mighty and add up in a
hurry! Clip them and send them to school with your child. K-3 has a
reward party each month for the class at each grade level with the most,
4th-5th is having a contest each month to see who can collect the most! The
class at each grade level with the most, will win a free Bowling Party,
compliments of PTO.

Dough Nights
|
|
For every pizza purchased on Dough Night by
Salem Elementary Parents, $1 will be donated to the PTO. Please write on a
slip of paper how many pizzas you ordered and what class & school your
child is in. Thanks!

Hawthorn Dough Nights are the second
Wednesday of each month.
|
|
Franklin Park Dough Nights are the third
Wednesday of each month.
|
|

Pizza Nights
Please support Salem Schools and a new local
Italian restaurant, by ordering on the 2nd Friday evening of the month.
Craig O's will donate 10% of your entire order back to our PTO. You can
dine in or use carry-out, just be sure to get your slip filled out and
leave it with an employee.
